Gynaecological check-up
Regular check-ups are an important part of women's health. They enable changes to be detected at an early stage and addressed individually.
We recommend that you have this gynaecological check-up annually – or at least every two years. Please note that basic insurance only covers check-ups every three years. In the intervening years, the costs may be covered by supplementary insurance, depending on your policy.
Depending on the situation, additional examinations (e.g. mammography, breast ultrasound or ultrasound of the uterus and ovaries) may be recommended or carried out on request. These examinations are not part of regular preventive care and are coded and billed differently according to the tariff and are therefore not covered by basic insurance as part of preventive care.
As part of preventive care, we offer:
- Personal consultation and advice on current issues
- Breast examination
- Cervical smear (PAP test) in accordance with current guidelines (HPV diagnostics, dysplasia consultation)
- Assessment of the internal genital organs (palpation)
Depending on your stage of life and situation, we also offer:
- Mammography or breast ultrasound
- Ultrasound of the uterus and ovaries
We are also happy to discuss topics such as HPV vaccinations, infections, contraception, etc. We offer the option of inserting a copper or hormone coil – painlessly under anaesthesia if desired, in cooperation with the OPERA Hirslanden outpatient surgery centre in Zumikon.
Diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological complaints
Changes in the menstrual cycle, pelvic floor problems and recurrent infections are common issues. At our practice, we take the time to carefully assess, advise and treat the following issues:

At our practice, we support you on your journey to pregnancy with our many years of medical experience and state-of-the-art diagnostics. We offer a comprehensive assessment of possible causes and individual advice on the best treatment options.
We place great importance on personalised and trustworthy care and treatment up to insemination (intrauterine insemination, IUI).
In order to provide you with the best possible support, we offer short-notice appointments for ultrasound examinations and check-ups so that you remain flexible.
For further treatments such as IVF/ICSI, we can work with the 360° KinderwunschZentrum Zürich, which is located in the same building, or with a fertility clinic of your choice, if you wish.
Hormone consultation for peri- and post-menopause
The period around the menopause – from perimenopause to post-menopause – is a natural but very individual phase of life. Many women experience physical and emotional changes that can affect their well-being.
During our hormone consultation, we take the time to look at your situation holistically and work with you to find ways to restore your inner balance and well-being.
We offer comprehensive advice, support and therapy in line with current medical standards – tailored to your individual needs.
Our team keeps up to date with the latest recommendations and studies and advises you in accordance with current medical guidelines.
Depending on your individual situation, bioidentical hormones or other modern forms of hormonal treatment, including testosterone therapy, may be considered. During such treatment, hormone levels in the blood are checked regularly.
Alternatively or in addition, non-hormonal therapies can also be helpful, such as herbal preparations, dietary adjustments, exercise and relaxation exercises, or acupuncture.
We will discuss together which approaches are medically appropriate and personally suitable for you.
