Surgeries
Our operating physicians, Dr Dominique Götze-Frank and Dr Kristin von Meyenburg, hold FMH specialist qualifications in surgical gynaecology and obstetrics and have over 20 years of surgical experience. We perform the procedures ourselves – both on an outpatient and inpatient basis – in collaboration with our partner clinics.
If you have supplementary insurance (semi-private or private), we can personally care for you during inpatient gynaecological operations in private clinics. Otherwise, there is also the option of a one-time change of insurance.
Our range of gynaecological procedures includes:
- Conisations
- Surgery on the uterus and ovaries: depending on the findings, the procedure is either minimally invasive via laparoscopy or open surgery (abdominal incision)
- Surgery to investigate infertility
- Ligation
- IUD replacement or removal under sedation or short anaesthesia upon request
- Diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopy
- Surgical procedures for heavy bleeding (e.g. destruction of the uterine lining using Nova Sure, resection of the uterine lining up to removal of the uterus via laparoscopy)
- Incontinence surgery and surgery for vaginal prolapse in collaboration with a specialised team of urogynaecologists
- Breast surgery for benign or malignant changes, in collaboration with a specialised breast centre (breast surgery team)
